ECN (Engineering Change Note) Facilitator

R&D or Engineering departments of many manufacturers usually have numerous ECN changes to their products. This process is usually manual and is not well controlled. The approval time of ECN can vary significantly depending on the amount of information needed from various areas (ex. BOM data, Inventory data, etc.), approver's availability (the approver(s) might be out of town). In addition, since most ERP system don't have a workflow system in place, various parties might need to extract / input / manipulate the data at different point in time and can cause data integrity problems. Human errors and lost of ECN change forms are very common.

ECN Facilitatior is widely accepted in the manufacturing industry. It is suitable for use in discrete manufacturing like electronics and toys. ECN Change Enhancer can be an extension to any kind of ERP system. The product can significantly improves the efficiency and accuracy of manufacturer's ECN related process.

The product is a workflow framework with integration to the customer's ERP system. It works hand in hand with ERP's control of ECN - extract the needed data, put them in the workflow approval cycle, and then reflected the change of data back into the ERP system.

 

Procurement eBiz Facilitator

Our Procurement eBiz Enhancer assists Manufacturers on automating the material purchasing process. It helps our customers save cost on direct and indirect material purchasing. In addition, instead of putting sensitive PO information and suppliers' information out on public trading network, our solution stores all these sensitive information on your own company e-commerce server. All approved vendors will then be given its own login ID and password to participate in the procurement process.

Our solution is highly configurable and is integrated with customers' backend ERP system. Our customers can choose to download all needed PO information from their ERP system, or to key in information by hand. In addition, details of the procurement process (closing date, minimum bid, bidding quantity, etc.) are configurable for each PO. Suppliers on the Approved Vendor List will also be notified automatically by email for any news update.

 

EHSS E-Helpdesk Support System

Bechelon's EHSS serves as the centralized contact point between your IT support team and users. The system provides support on:

The system is internet based and is suitable for customers whose HQs are based in Hong Kong and their manufacturing facilities in China.

At the end of each month, the system will generate a Monthly Summary Report which summarizes all problems logged including:
